NEWS RELEASE

Green Energy Technology to be presented at
Coal Conference

FEBRUARY 11, 2005

Englewood, CO. February 11, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE)-- Green Energy Corp. (OTC:GEYC) announced that the gasification technology to which it holds a license will be presented at The 30th International Clearwater Coal Conference to be held April 17 - 21, 2005 in Clearwater, Florida. The conference will focus on technology designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The inventor of the Green Energy process, Robert Klepper, has been invited to speak at this industrial conference on April 20.

Mr. Klepper will present an overview of the state of coal gasification and the breakthrough to commercialization that his patented technology offers. Green Energy has built a pilot plant in Denver, Colorado and successfully tested a number of coal feedstocks.

Green Energy, the licensee of the Klepper technology, offers the coal industry a means for producing clean energy. In the Green Energy gasification process the coal is converted into high-energy content synthetic gas consisting of carbon monoxide, hydrogen, methane and some carbon dioxide.

During the chemical process of coal gasification, pollutants often present in run-of-mine coal such as sulfur and mercury are removed and recovered as solids rather than emitted into the atmosphere as flue gas during the conventional combustion of coal. The synthetic gas produced can be used to fuel an internal combustion engine or turbine-driven electric generator while meeting the most stringent emission standards. Alternatively, the synthetic gas can be catalytically converted to ethanol.

Green Energy's mission is to offer solutions to environmental waste problems and to simultaneously produce clean energy.
