PRESS RELEASE
OCTOBER 5, 2005
Englewood, Colorado- (Trans World News)-October 5, 2005. --Green Energy Corp. (OTC:GEYC) announced that it has signed an Equipment Supply and Licensing Agreement with Infinity Energy Solutions (Infinity), a Georgia corporation with offices in Denver.
Green Energy holds a license on the BCT Gasifier invented and developed by BioConversion Technology. The BCT technology which has been tested and proven to produce synthetic gas (syngas) in a pilot plant that converts carbon-containing waste including biomass, sewage sludge and municipal solid waste into syngas. The produced syngas can be burned in a micro turbine or internal combustion engine to generate electricity, or can be further converted into high-Btu synthetic natural gas or motor transportation fuel such as ethanol.
Green Energy's technology advantage over the much-publicized bio diesel or ethanol processes is that the gasifier utilizes existing feedstock. Bio-fuel distillers have to grow their feed such as corn or soybeans, which require energy input to produce them.
Infinity will design, own and operate BCT gasifier plants to produce green, or renewable, energy with a minimum of greenhouse gas emissions. Infinity's business plan is to identify host sites that have plant feed available such as agricultural waste or solid municipal waste and to negotiate energy (electricity or synthetic gas) sales contracts up front. "We are pleased that Infinity Energy Solutions, an experienced operator, has chosen our technology to implement their business plan," said Dennis Murphy, Green Energy's president. "Infinity has notified us that they have already identified 12 projects on which Green Energy gasifiers could be applied."
Green Energy's shares are traded on the Electronic Pink Sheets under the symbol GEYC and the Company is listed in Standard and Poor's registry.
