GREEN ENERGY CORP INITIATES HISTORIC FIRST GLOBAL ENERGY MODEL WORKING GROUP SESSION

DENVER, CO, November 12, 2010 – Green Energy Corp, a technology company dedicated to enabling the smart grid, today announced that it has conducted the inaugural meeting of the Global Energy Model (GEM) Working Group. The GEM Working Group is composed of world leaders and powerful organizations seeking to apply the GEM roadmap to developing nations. Last month, this Working Group held their first meeting to discuss rebuilding the energy infrastructure in Haiti and how to coordinate those efforts across government, NGO’s, private sector, technology and donor communities.

GEM is the first comprehensive plan to energize developing nations with clean and renewable power. It is authored by Mr. Daniel Gregory, founder of Green Energy Corp and a recognized leader in strategic energy solutions. GEM provides a holistic and pragmatic model that integrates every societal dimension needed to create a self-sustaining energy system for an emerging nation. The Haiti project will be the firstpractical application of GEM.

“I am both grateful and optimistic of the efforts of Green Energy Corp and the impressive level of the GEM Working Group members,” said Dr. Rene Jean-Jumeau, Chief of the Energy Management Unit in Haiti’s Ministry of Public Works. “The very concept of effective management of multiple renewable energy plants and rural micro-grids, a key goal of GEM, is an incredible opportunity for developing nations. This gives them a real chance at sustainable energy autonomy and hope for the future.” In addition to the Haitian Government’s support, GEM is an approved Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Commitment to Action. The GEM Working group is currently made up of the following members:

“Thanks to the leadership of Minister Jacques Gabriel, the dedication of Dr. Rene Jean-Jumeau, the support of the Clinton Global Initiative, and the efforts of the GEM working group, building a sustainable national power system in Haiti is conceivable,” said Daniel Gregory, Chairman of the Board, Green Energy Corp. “GEM offers a roadmap toward a sustainable and affordable energy future for all Haitians. Our GreenBus technology combined with Haiti’s advantageous mix of renewable energy resources enable this unprecedented project. We are thrilled that Haiti has embraced GEM and we are committed to see this vision through to reality.”

Primarily focused on building out the energy infrastructure in Haiti, the GEM Working Group agenda included discussions on the creation of an energy control center, a micro-grid project, new energy generation (multiple solar farms, pumped hydro storage, biomass, wind & waste-to-energy), grid improvements and testing. Implementing GEM in Haiti will serve as a model for other developing countries such as Ethiopia, Sudan, Pakistan and the Congo.
