GREEN ENERGY CORP SELECTED AS COLORADO
COMPANIES TO WATCH AWARDEE
DENVER, CO, August 18, 2011 – Green Energy Corp, a Colorado-based software company that enables traditional and emerging power providers to move to the Smart Grid, today announced that it was selected as a “Colorado Companies to Watch” award winner.
A program of the Edward Lowe Foundation, “Colorado Companies to Watch” is an annual program designed to recognize high growth companies that develop valuable products and services, add jobs, enrich communities and create new industries throughout the state. Selection of the companies was made by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, economic development groups and chambers of commerce throughout the state. To qualify, companies had to be based in Colorado, employ six to 99 full-time employees and have annual sales of $750,000 to $50 million. The selection committee received over 400 applications and scored each company based on leadership, work force, competitive edge and innovation.

Earlier this year, Green Energy Corp released the GreenBus® – a robust and scalable software platform that allows utilities to connect old systems to new systems and gradually upgrade to the smart grid. This means utilities can deliver power more efficiently, and integrate renewable energy like wind and solar to reduce the impact of fossil fuel energy production.
