Green Energy Corp’s software engineering excellence was born during the formative years of the telecommunications and energy industries. Our founding members for Green Energy Corp delivered software and power engineering services to help utilities meet the earliest challenges for automating and digitizing the grid. Our founding members from Magpie leveraged impressive credentials from Bell Laboratories to build a reputation for on-time, on-budget software engineering projects. After establishing a successful practice serving communications customers, the Magpie team expanded their domain expertise to include healthcare and smart energy solutions. 

The multi-faceted expertise of our engineering team, along with our energy software products in production across many utilities, is fused together to deliver Green Energy Corp’s software system to enable the smart grid. The GreenBus platform is the only open source solution that supports interoperability of legacy and new applications. Because we drive this transformation via an open source platform and cloud computing technologies, both traditional and emerging power providers are fully enabled to improve capacity and efficiency, meet regulatory obligations, support national security and integrate renewable energy sources.
