Green Energy Corp, a Colorado Companies To Watch 2011 Award Winner, is seeking a Scrum Master/Project Manager to be part of our team. Green Energy Corp provides software engineering services to the utilities, communications and smart grid energy industries in an agile programming environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys continuous learning, customer interaction and teaming with software engineers to bridge the gap between customer business requirements and technical expertise to deliver solutions.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will lead cross-functional software development teams and is responsible for balancing delivery and solving the customer’s business problem while supporting, leading and mentoring the engineering team. The Project Manager/Scrum Master will work closely with the customer in a highly interactive and flexible environment. This role must excel at customer negotiation and posses the ability to manage the business relationship to derive customer satisfaction. This key role will provide servant leadership and facilitate the project team through the Agile process of release planning, sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, product demonstrations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years as a ScrumMaster; CSM certification a plus
- 5 years experience managing projects in an Agile software development environment for web based applications
- 3 years experience working with customers in a services or consulting organization as a project manager/scrum master
- Experience facilitating group discussions, including the ability to lead technical teams through evaluation models
- Experience leading change and promoting an environment of continuous improvement
